Your access stays in your hands

For MCP assistants, including ChatGPT and Claude, sign in to Stores on Live, choose your Shopify store and approve the requested permissions. You can review or revoke that access in Agent connections. To approve additional permissions, reconnect from your assistant and review the new access request. Refreshing a page or connection metadata does not grant more access. Sidekick uses your existing Shopify staff session and permissions; it has no separate MCP sign-in. Connecting a tool does not publish a show, start a camera, or reveal private buyer settlement details.
