Live shopping in Shopify customer accounts.

Bring live shopping into your store’s native Shopify customer accounts. Customers use their store account to complete purchases, claim prizes, use rewards and return to your shows.

Native Shopify customer accounts

Stores on Live adds its Live shopping page inside Shopify’s new customer accounts. The Live access shortcuts sit on the customer profile and order list, alongside the account pages your customers already use.

Customers use their store sign-in. Paid purchases can open the linked Shopify order, and prize claims can use saved Shopify addresses. Your live-shopping activity stays connected to the same customer account.

Live access shortcuts

Add the Live access block to the customer profile or order list. It highlights a relevant next step, such as claiming a prize, completing payment or opening the next show.

The shortcut also links to the full Live shopping page. That link remains available when the customer has no live activity. The page has six sections: Purchases, Giveaways, Rewards & access, Live picks, Shop replays and Shows.

Bring customers back to your store

When shoppers sign in to bid or buy, their participation connects to a customer in your Shopify store. After the show, that account gives them a place to complete payment, find a reward or return for another event.

Customers can choose a reminder for the next show and manage Live show emails from their account. These choices give you a direct way to invite interested customers back to your store.

Continue the conversation through your connected WhatsApp Business tools. Share a product, send a show link and use approved message templates where supported. Account activity, email preferences and customer conversations give you several ways to build a relationship beyond one broadcast.

Purchases

Customers can see which purchases need payment, which are processing, and which are completed or closed. A payable purchase has a checkout action when its private link is available. A paid purchase with a linked Shopify order has a View order action.

Customers can search by product name and filter purchases by Active, Completed or Closed. The page includes in-progress purchases and the last 90 days of completed or closed purchases.

Payments and recovery

Giveaways

Entries and awarded prizes appear together, with filters to view each separately. Customers can see the prize, its claim state and the remaining claim time where applicable.

An eligible winner can claim from the account page. If a shipping address is required, they choose a saved Shopify address. Links let them add or edit addresses in their account. Claimed or missed prizes remain visible for 90 days.

Giveaway rules and claims

Rewards & access

Customers can find granted rewards and early access, then use the available action. A discount can link to its application; early access can open a preview of the eligible show.

The page shows reward details and expiry information where supplied. Filters separate rewards from access. Campaign conditions determine what the customer receives; this section displays what they have been granted.

Live picks

Live picks follows eligible auction interest and second-chance offers. It is not a wishlist of every product a shopper viewed or saved.

Eligible backup bidders can see an item as Watching while unpaid-winner recovery remains unresolved, for up to 48 hours after the lot closes. Watching does not guarantee an offer and has no purchase button.

When a customer receives a second-chance offer, its status and available checkout action appear here. Filters separate Offers from Watching. Once a second-chance purchase is paid, it appears in Purchases.

Shop replays

Customers can open an available product from a recent show and browse its replay. This section is a selection from recent activity, not a complete archive of every show or product.

Shopping depends on the published replay, enabled replay sales and the product’s current eligibility and availability.

Shows

Customers can open the next show and shows linked to their recent account activity. For the upcoming show, Remind me adds an event reminder; Remove reminder cancels it.

A separate Live show emails setting lets customers manage their preference for show emails. The event reminder and the broader email setting are different controls. An email address is required to use the email setting.

Add the account extensions

Use Shopify’s new customer accounts and add the supported Live access blocks on the profile or order list. These blocks provide the View live access link into the full page.

Do not assume the full-page extension creates a navigation item automatically. Configure its entry points in Shopify’s customer account editor and check the journey as a customer.

On wider screens, the full page has a Browse panel beside the selected section. On smaller screens, customers choose a section from a dropdown. They can move between sections without losing an unfinished prize-claim address selection.

From auction interest to a completed purchase.

Watching

An eligible backup bidder sees the item in Live picks while recovery remains unresolved. No checkout action is available yet.

An offer arrives

If the customer receives a second-chance offer, Live picks shows its status and the available checkout action.

Payment completes

The paid second-chance purchase moves into Purchases. A linked Shopify order can be opened from there.

Questions

Is this a separate account customers need to create?+

No. The experience runs inside your store’s Shopify customer accounts. It requires Shopify’s new customer accounts and the Stores on Live extensions.

How do customers find the full page?+

Add a Live access block on the profile or order list. Its View live access link opens the full Live shopping page, including when there is no live activity. A full-page extension does not create an account navigation item automatically.

Does taking part automatically subscribe a customer to messages?+

No. Signing in connects participation to the store account. Customers can separately choose event reminders and live-show emails. WhatsApp uses its own connection and messaging permissions; it is not an automatic subscription from the account page.

Is Purchases a complete Shopify order history?+

No. It covers live-shopping purchases, including in-progress activity and the last 90 days of completed or closed purchases. Paid purchases with a linked order can open the Shopify order.

Can a giveaway winner provide a shipping address here?+

Yes. When the claim requires an address, the winner can choose a saved Shopify address. Account links let them add or edit addresses before completing the claim.

Is Live picks the same as a wishlist?+

No. It shows eligible auction interest and second-chance offers. Watching items have no buy action. An available offer can have a checkout action; after payment, the purchase appears in Purchases.

Can customers apply a reward or open early access?+

Yes, when the granted reward or access includes an available action. The page shows supplied details and expiry information. The customer must meet the campaign’s conditions to receive the benefit.

Does Shop replays contain every past show?+

No. It shows a selection of available products from recent show activity. Opening an item leads into its replay. Product and replay eligibility still apply.

What is the difference between a show reminder and Live show emails?+

Remind me applies to the upcoming event. Live show emails is a separate preference for show emails. Customers can manage both in Shows.
