# Stores on Live for Shopify Sidekick

## What it does
- Find the show you mean: Find your last live show, your next scheduled show or a saved draft. Ask by name or date. Sidekick returns the matching shows so you can choose the right one.
- Check the room and camera: See which product is open and what comes next. Check the room and public video separately. Know whether the sale is running and whether shoppers can watch.
- See what sold and what is paid: Review a show’s sales and recorded payment totals. Find unpaid purchases, failed payments and records that need review. Compare shows to understand their results.
- Go straight to the work: Use the returned links to open a show, its host screen or its payments in Stores on Live. Open a saved draft in the editor. Read in Sidekick, then take action in the app.

## Setup
1. Connect your store. Install Stores on Live and connect your Shopify store. Ask our team to confirm Sidekick access for that store.
2. Open Sidekick in Shopify. Once access is enabled, open Sidekick from your Shopify admin. Ask about Stores on Live and name the show you want to review.
3. Read, then act. Review the answer. Follow its app link when you want to edit a draft, host a show or manage a payment.

## Access
Your Shopify staff permissions control access. Product access is required for drafts and live state. Order access is required for sales and payments. The Shopify store must be connected to Stores on Live.

## Boundaries
This Stores on Live integration is read-only. It does not create, publish or start shows, change prices, collect payments or send reminders. It uses your Shopify session; there is no MCP server URL or separate agent connection to set up.
Totals cover recorded sales for each show, grouped by currency. They are not profit or a full accounting report. Shipping, tax and refunds are not reconciled here.
Room state and public video state are separate. Ask for the timezone when a date is unclear. Read the complete summary for totals; a page of results is not a whole-show total.
The extension provides app links, not buyer contact details or private checkout links. It does not grant access outside the current Shopify store and staff permissions.
